SpaceX may launch from Florida again in November

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket may lift off again in November.

SpaceX seems to be regrouping quickly to start launching again in Florida, nearly three months after its Sept. 1 rocket explosion in Cape Canaveral.

“We’re anticipating getting back to flight — after being down for about three months — in the November time frame,” said Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceX’ president and chief operating officer, during a panel discussion at Euroconsult’s World Satellite Business Week conference in Paris on Sept. 13. “We’ll launch from the East Coast from pad 39A and then Vandenberg (Air Force Base in California) will be available for our customers.”
